Nineth grade young man. The youngest of four children. Parents recently divorced. Dad passes away unexpectedly at age 48 from a heart attack. My mother, his ex-wife and my older brother had to go into debt to bear the cost. Major financial and emotional setback. One of the major setbacks could have been prevented. Life Insurance is not a want it is a Need!
February 6th was the day that change my life FOREVER. My husband unexpectedly passed away and before I could leave the hospital, it felt like I was asked a million questions-the what, the who, the why, the how, and the when questions. I was processing what just happened, but I am so grateful that I found a brief moment of peace because of what my husband did. He was the type of MAN to make sure our household would be taken care of. He contacted an insurance agent years ago. I did not have to stress over his memorial which turned out beautiful. I did not have to beg for money or set up a go fund me. We had life insurance policies; my mind was at peace to take care of the things that needed to be done while I was still processing the loss of my high school first love. He and God are the reasons why I became a life insurance agent. My goal is to share my testimony with other families, who will experience the same questions and raw emotions. Death will come to us all whether we expect it or not, so be prepared to protect yourself and your family. I want to extend peace of mind one policy at a time.
A friend once asked if I offered life insurance that would pay out if he got too sick to work. I told him yes—unaware that he had just been diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer. It was caught early and was treatable, but it still disqualified him from obtaining new coverage.
When I reviewed his existing policy from another agent, I found it only included the basics. That meant no immediate help in his time of need—no protection for the very situation our policies are designed to cover.
That moment hit me hard. It reminded me why I do what I do. Too many people have policies that won’t protect them when life actually happens. My mission is to ensure families in our community have the right kind of coverage—not just the most affordable or familiar, but the kind that truly provides support when it’s needed most.
We can’t control life’s uncertainties, but we can prepare for them. My goal is to match every client with coverage that brings real peace of mind—because when the unexpected happens, your policy should show up the way you need it to.
